A widget is a small frame on your site showing items from another source. In this case, the frame shows real-time photos of your topic of choice.
Where do your real-time photos come from?
We index live photos that are tweeted through the following services: Twitter, TwitPic, Instagram, Yfrog and Lockerz.
Why isn’t this widget in the Wordpress or Tumblr widget overview?
We were really eager to launch this tool. One of our next steps is to make the Skylines widget available via these services.
What is the business model of Skylines?
Within the free widget, we will offer ads. The next step is to launch paid premium solutions that are ad free, customizable in shape and color and can contain pre-moderated photos, for example. Also, Skylines creates pro photo tools for news services and major blogs. These handmade solutions come with a decent price.
Do you have a public API?
Currently, Skylines does not have a public API. But please get in touch if you want to work with our tools.
